Reel Ocean is an educational media company founded by Nick Quintairos, who grew up on Miami's water, studied biology at Florida State and aquaculture at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School, and teaches marine science at Miami Palmetto Senior High.

What we do

We film Florida's watershed from the Kissimmee River to the open ocean in 360°, build a curriculum around it, and make the footage useful to anyone who fishes, dives, teaches, or studies here. Partner work includes 360° and research video for FIU programs.
